Almond Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • additional sugar

Instructions

  • Cream butter, margarine & sugar. Mix in almond extract and flour. Chill for at least 10 minutes. Roll into balls; dip balls into sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Use the bottom of a glass or a cookie stamp dipped in sugar to stamp cookies down. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Watch carefully as they brown quickly.
