Strawberry Avocado Salsa

Ingredients
- 2 cups strawberries stemmed and diced
- 1 avocado peeled, pitted, and diced
- 1/4 cup red onion diced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro chopped
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 2-3 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 teaspoons jalapeño pepper seeded and diced
- 1/2 teaspoon evaporated cane sugar
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Toss gently, season to taste with salt and pepper, and serve.
- Notes:
- Good served over chicken, shrimp, etc.
