Spicy Stewed Tomatoes

Ingredients
14 1/2
ounces
stewed tomatoes
2
tablespoons
sugar
2
tablespoons
vinegar
pepper to taste
Instructions
In a small saucepan, pour can of stewed tomatoes and add sugar, vinegar
and pepper. I like it spicy so I add a lot of pepper. Bring to a boil
and simmer uncovered about 15-20 minutes or until thickened.
Serve hot or cold with peas, butter beans, squash, corn, etc. This is
especially good with vegetables when tomatoes are not in season.
Refrigerate leftovers.
