Southwestern Pork Rub

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 4 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Black Pepper
  • 4 teaspoons Cumin
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Mexican Oregano

Instructions

  • Measure all of the ingredients out into a medium sized bowl. Using a wire whisk, mix until well combined.
  • After combining, transfer the mixture into a clean, dry container that has a lid (such as a glass jar). Store the Homemade Southwestern Pork Rub covered in a cool, dry place.
  • Notes:
  • 1/2 of the ingredients season a 6 lb. pork Boston Butt or any meat you like.
