Lemon Blueberry Bread

Ingredients

softened

baking powder

milk

blueberries
fresh or frozen

large lemon
zested and juiced

teaspoon
vanilla
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add
alternately with milk. Fold in blueberries, lemon zest and vanilla.
Reserve lemon juice for glaze. Bake at 350 degrees in 2 large greased and
floured loaf pans for 50 minutes or until bread tests done. It takes
longer if you use frozen berries. Let cool in pans for about 15 minutes
before you turn out bread.
LEMON GLAZE (optional)
Mix juice of 1 lemon with confectioners' sugar until it has the
consistency of a glaze. Pour over warm bread and let soak in.
