Cream Puff Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 2 cups milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 8 ounces cool whip
  • chocolate syrup

Instructions

  • Boil together the margarine and water. Add the flour and mix well.
  • Cool slightly and stir in eggs one at a time. Remember any time you make a cream puff dough on the stove top, KEEP STIRRING until it comes together! After you add the eggs, it sometimes looks like it won't form into anything, but it will!
  • Mix well and spread into a greased 9x13 pan.
  • Bake at 425 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Cool completely.
  • In a large bowl, mix pudding, milk and cream cheese. Beat until lumps disappear. Pour into cream puff crust.
  • Spread cool whip on top of pudding and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Refrigerate.
