Cooked Salad Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion flakes
  • 1 large egg slightly beaten
  • 1 cup oil

Instructions

  • Bring all, except egg and oil, to a boil; add a very small amount of hot
  • mixture to beaten egg and then add egg to rest of mixture.
  • Boil 1 minute.
  • Slowly stir in oil. Chill.
