Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 package hot roll mix
  • 3/4 cup water warm
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup pecans chopped

Instructions

  • Sprinkle yeast from package over warm water in large mixing bowl. Stir to
  • dissolve. Add egg, 1/4 cup honey and the hot roll mix and blend well.
  • Cover and let rise in warm place away from draft, about 1 hour or until
  • double in bulk.
  • Roll out on lightly floured board into 20 x 12 rectangle. Combine melted
  • butter and 2 tablespoons honey and spread evenly over dough. Combine
  • brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over dough. Sprinkle raisins and
  • nuts over dough. Roll as for jelly roll from wide side; cut into 16-18
  • slices. Arrange in a 13 x 9 pan sprayed with Pam. Cover and let rise
  • about 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25-30 minutes or until
  • golden.
  • Frost while warm with icing made by blending 1 cup powdered sugar, 2-3
  • tablespoons milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
