Chinese Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces coleslaw
  • 1 bunch green onions diced
  • 1 package Top Ramen Oodles of Noodles beef
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower kernels roasted & salted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • beef flavor packet from noodles

Instructions

  • Saute broken noodles and almonds with 2 tablespoons butter until almost
  • brown.
  • Mix together sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar, oil and beef flavor packet
  • from noodles for dressing.
  • Add noodles and almonds to the coleslaw, onions and sunflower seeds. Pour
  • dressing over all and serve immediately.

Notes

NOTES : Variation: Omit beef flavor packet from dressing(contains MSG and soy sauce) and add 2 minced garlic cloves instead.
