Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground chuck
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes canned
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons cumin powder
  • 3 cans pinto beans drained & rinsed
  • 2 cup water

Instructions

  • Brown meat in dutch oven and drain off grease. Add remaining ingredients.
  • Simmer slowly and stir occasionally for about 1 hour or until vegetables are tender and chili is the right consistency.
  • Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped avocado, corn chips or Mexican Cornbread.
