Caramel Icing (Dot Thrasher)

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 16 oz. powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  • Melt butter over low heat and stir in brown sugar. Bring to a slow boil for 2 minutes stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat and add milk.
  • Bring to a boil again. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Add more milk if icing gets too hard to spread.
