Buttermilk Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted

Instructions

  • Whisk dry ingredients together. Whisk eggs, buttermilk, milk and vanilla
  • together in a separate bowl. Add to flour mix and whisk until smooth.
  • Add melted butter. Cook pancakes on a greased, preheated, flat griddle
  • until bubbles rise to the top, some burst and edges start to look dry.
  • Flip and cook until underside has browned.

NOTES : OTHER VERSIONS Sprinkle or distribute the added ingredients over the batter just
after you have poured it onto the griddle:

Strawberries
Peaches
