Broccoli Casserole (Ellen Alford)

Ingredients
2
large onions
chopped
1
stick butter
6
packages frozen chopped broccoli
thawed & drained
4
cans cream of mushroom soup
1
large can mushrooms
drained
1
cup
almonds
sliced
1
cup
bread crumbs
3
packages Kraft garlic cheese
Instructions
Saute onions in butter. Add broccoli and cook 1/2 hour. Mix soup, cheese, mushrooms and almonds and add to cooked broccoli. Put in (2) 13x9 pans, top with almonds and bread crumbs and bake at 300 degrees until bubbly.
