Penne Pasta with Sausage, Peppers & Onions

Ingredients
- olive oil for sauteing
- 6 oz. chicken sausage with jalepenias & roasted red peppers sliced in rounds
- 1 onion diced
- 1 small can sliced black olives drained
- 1 jar roasted red peppers drained & sliced
- 26 oz. San Marzano Marinara Sauce
- salt & pepper to taste
- fresh parsley chopped
- parmesan cheese grated
- 8 ounces whole wheat penne pasta cooked
Instructions
- Cook pasta.
- Saute sausage and onion in olive oil. Add marinara sauce, black olives and roasted red peppers and simmer with top off about 10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in cooked pasta and parsley and serve with grated parmesan cheese.
