Crab Quiche

Crab Quiche

Course: Main Course, Seafood

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • dash pepper
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese shredded
  • 6 ounces crab
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 large eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick baking mix

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients. Add Old Bay to taste and pour into greased 9 inch pie plate. Bake for 45 minutes. Let set 10 minutes after removing from oven before slicing.

Notes

NOTES : Variation: Use 1/2 cup bacon or ham instead of crab. May use sharp cheddar or monteray jack cheese instead of swiss.
I use Phillips Backfin Crabmeat from the Village Butcher. A one pound can makes 2 quiches.
