Conrad’s Coffee Cake

Coffee Cake

Course: Dessert
Servings: 8

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Cream butter.
  • Add sugar, egg, milk, flour and vanilla.
  • Stir until smooth.
  • Spread in a greased 8x8 pan.
  • Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Bake 25 minutes @ 375 degrees.

Notes

NOTES : Double recipe for a 13x9 pan. Nuts and a glaze may be added if desired.
