Apple Crisp

Course: Dessert

Ingredients

  • 6 large Granny Smith apples
  • 8 graham crackers 2 1/2 inches each
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup margarine melted

Instructions

  • Peel, core and slice apples. Spray baking dish with Pam and place apples
  • in dish 3/4 full. Finely chop graham crackers. Combine crumbs, sugar,
  • oats, flour and spices. Add margarine; mix well. Spoon mixture over
  • apple slices.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until apples are tender. Or,
  • microwave on high 12-15 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
