Chili Rellenos Casserole

Ingredients
- 6-10 fresh green chilies roasted & peeled
- 2 cups Monterey jack & sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- Batter:
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs separated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray 9x13 dish with Pam. Line dish with chilies and cheese, alternating layers.
- Beat milk, egg yolks and flour. Mix well until creamy. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter.
- Pour over chilies and cheese and bake until set.
- Serve with red chile sauce or salsa.
