White Wine Cake

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup pecans chopped
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 3 1/4 ounces vanilla pudding mix instant
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup white wine
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour a tube pan and sprinkle
- nuts evenly over bottom of pan.
- Mix together the rest of the ingredients except the last three and beat 2
- or 3 minutes. Bake for 50-60 minutes.
- Cool cake about 15 minutes in the pan and then turn out onto plate. Mix
- sugar, butter and wine together and boil 2 or 3 minutes. With a small
- knitting needle or wooden skewer, poke holes all over the cake. Spoon
- topping sauce over cake slowly and let soak into cake.
Notes
NOTES : I use Duncan Hines Butter Cake Mix. Any cheap Chablis will do.
