Spicy Stewed Tomatoes

Ingredients
- 14 1/2 ounces stewed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, pour can of stewed tomatoes and add sugar, vinegar
- and pepper. I like it spicy so I add a lot of pepper. Bring to a boil
- and simmer uncovered about 15-20 minutes or until thickened.
- Serve hot or cold with peas, butter beans, squash, corn, etc. This is
- especially good with vegetables when tomatoes are not in season.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
