Tomato Basil Soup

Tomato Basil Soup

Course: Main Course, Soup

Ingredients

  • 26 ounces tomato soup family size
  • 26 ounces canned diced tomatoes
  • 12-16 ounces regular or fat free half and half
  • 4 ounces pesto sauce
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • fresh basil to garnish

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a large saucepan. Slowly simmer for 20-30 minutes.
  • Serve with freshly grated parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil.
