Apple Dumplings

Ingredients
- 2 cans crescent rolls separated into 16 triangles
- 4 LARGE Granny Smith apples peeled, cored & quartered
- 1 stick butter melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- cinnamon
Instructions
- Wrap each apple quarter in a crescent roll triangle, making sure apple is completely covered in dough. Place in a pyrex dish with the seam side down.
- Mix together melted butter, sugar and boiling water. Pour over dumplings and then sprinkle each one with cinnamon.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
