Fruit Cake Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
- 2 teaspoons soda
- 1/3 cup jelly
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 quart pecans
- 1/4 pound each candied pineapple cherries, & orange peel
- 1 pound white raisins
Instructions
- Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs, jelly and milk.
- Dredge fruit and nuts with flour mixed with soda. Add to first mixture.
- Drop by teaspoons onto greased baking sheet. Bake about 20 minutes at 300 degrees.
